An impressive array of King's alumni are listed as finalists for the Canadian Association of Journalists annual awards for 2009. The winners in each category will be announced May 29, 2010, at the CAJ Awards Banquet in Montreal. Congratulations to all the finalists.

Additionally, The Coast, which is edited and published by two King's alumni (Kyle Shaw, BSc '91, BJ '92 and Christine Oreskovitch, BA '95) was a finalist in the Open Newspaper/Wire Service Category for Tim Bousquet's story "Everyone Loses Under the City's Property Tax Plan" and in the Print Feature Cateogory for Mattieu Aikins' story  "Unembedded in Afghanistan."
