The University of King's College Chapel Choir will be going on a whirlwind tour from Windsor, Nova Scotia to New York City this May. Directed by five-time Grammy award winner, Paul Halley, this group of 22 talented musicians will perform at various locations throughout the Maritimes and New England before arriving at their final stop at the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, in NYC.
Titled, "King's Goes Home", the tour will explore the historical roots of the College starting out at the old campus in Windsor, Nova Scotia (now the home of King's-Edgehill School) before winding its way down the eastern seaboard and ending up in New York City (where the first King's was founded in 1756).
The Chapel Choir will return home to Halifax for a post-tour concert at the Cathedral Church of All Saints and to sing at the Encaenia Ceremony for King's College.
