Students who have sought financial assistance elsewhere, including the Canada Student Loan Programme, and can demonstrate fiscal hardship are eligible to apply to apply for a King's bursary.
The application involves a detailed listing of expenses and resources, and the King's Bursary Committee meets regularly from October to March each year to consider applications.
